About

A South Korean born creative director Taejay Lee has lived and worked in variety of places like Sydney, Bangkok, London, Amsterdam, Brussels, & Dubai. His cultural chameleon approach to life has been helping him to create work that’s loved by people and acknowledged in international award festivals. During his tenure Taejay conducted an orchestra with animals, made people to taste with ears, turned Thai gamers into Leo Messi, gifted extra arms to England goalie Joe Hart, crafted an art series with home appliances, & built a hoverboard racing track at the F1 Monaco GP.

Taejay moved to Barcelona to pursue his passion for photography. Since none of the locals could pronounce his name correctly, he now spells it the local way. TEYÉ enjoys combining his advertising eyes with photographer soul to tell stories and express his learnings in life. As a Photographer Teyé’s interest spans across narrative, street photography, and abstract visual art. Teyé starts to feel weird writing about himself in third person and thinks it’s better to stop now.

"I brought Taejay to Bangkok from Amsterdam after receiving a recommendation from a trusted colleague. Was it right move? Definitely, and within months I promoted him to Creative Group Head. A combination of talents from big creative ideas to showing the team how these concepts could come to life in digital space earned him that. Taejay served as a mentor to so many in the office, a crucial benefit for us as we were building much needed digital capabilities into the agency. Taejay was always one of the first in the office in the morning, seeing those ideas through. He’s an easily liked guy and I sincerely hope I get a chance to work with him again.”
