TEYÉ (Taejay Lee) is a South Korean artist and practice-based researcher working between the UK and Spain. He received an MA from the Royal College of Art and a BA from the University of the Arts London. Teyé collaborates with brands and cultural organisations across commercial, editorial, and institutional projects from campaigns to commissions. He has worked with public and private sector organisations including the Embassy of Spain in the Republic of Korea, the Ministry of Culture and Sport of Spain, the Ministry of Tourism Korea, the Dutch Ministry of Employment and Social Affairs, Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, and Leica Camera AG. His work has been presented in solo exhibitions at Zaha Museum, Leica Cheongdam, and Atelier de Fotografía La Coruña, as well as in group exhibitions at museums and galleries including CICA Museum, Gallery Ryugaheon (Seoul), L’Atelier Richelieu (Paris), Friche la Belle de Mai (Marseille), and Ex Dogana (Rome), among others. Teyé’s work has received several awards and nominations, including 1st place at the IPA New York, and selections for the Siena International Photo Awards, Aesthetica Art Prize, Revela’t Contemporary Analog Photography Festival, and InCadaqués Photo Festival. He has published award-winning photobooks My World(s) by Martian Story and Coliséens with Niji.
