TEYÉ (Taejay Lee) is a South Korean visual artist working between Spain and the UK. With degrees from the Royal College of Art London and the University of the Arts London, he specialises in 19th-century photographic techniques while integrating digital technology, archive, and mixed media. His practice navigates the shifting terrains of Transformation, Time, and Memory. Through palimpsest, repetition, deconstruction, and reconstruction, he builds layered worlds where past and present coexist in fragile tension, moving at the crossroads of photography, urban critique, and experimental material processes.
TEYÉ’s work has received 1st Place in Fine Art at the International Photography Awards in New York and has been showcased at the Incadaqués Photo Festival, Revela't Contemporary Analog Photography Festival in Barcelona, and the Siena International Photo Awards in Tuscany. His work has been published in international art magazines and academic journals and exhibited in museums and galleries across Europe and Asia.
